A Devotee:

In 1917, at Jayrambati in the month of Jaistha I asked Mother, "Mother, if I pray to the Master silently, will he listen? And should I say anything to the Master without letting you know first?"

Mother grew somewhat agitated on hearing this and said, "If he be true, certainly he will hear you."

This time I set out for Jayrambati, I worshipped Mother's Blessed feet and said, "If I cannot get a bullock cart in the daytime, Mother, I shall walk from Kotalpur in Vishnupur."

Mother replied, "Why torture your body, my son? You will get a cart."

She was right. I did get a cart. That was the last time I saw Mother in human form.
