As the day advanced the ladies assembled there made their obeisance to Mother and one by one took their leave....
Evening came on gradually. Mother called to Radhu, Makhu, and the others and asked them to come to the prayer-room for their prayers. When they delayed, she expressed her displeasure and said, "Look at them now, how they go wandering about, instead of sitting down to evening prayers!" They came soon after.
The revered Golap-Ma, Jogin-Ma, and some others came in the evening to salute Mother, and she placed her hand on their heads and blessed them. Some she touched on the chin and then kised her own hand, others she greeted with folded hands. Then she bowed to the Master and spreading a carpet, sat down for japa. Arrangements were being made for the evening worship with lighted lamps when Mother arose after concluding her japa....
