Swami Arupananda:

"My son," Holy Mother said, "if my blessimgs have the power to give you complete realization, then I bless you with all my heart".....

"How can one love God without seeng Him?" I asked.

"Quite so," Mother replied, "Who can make friends with the wind?"

"When shall I see Him, Mother?" I asked.

"You will, my son," Mother said, "You will see Him when the time comes."....

IN those days the national movement in Bengal was very strong. So I asked, "Mother, will the sorrows and miseries of this country never come to an end?"

"Why, the Master came for that very purpose."

We fell to talking about Holy Mother's own mother.

"When my mother was alive," she said, "if a disciple came on a visit, she would cry, 'My grandson is here!' and show such pleasure and take such care of him. This household was her life-blood. She took such pains to keep everything in order. My mother's name was ShyAmA (the Goddess Kali's own name)." The old lady had died the previous year.
