A Devotee:

On the eighth day of the moon in the month of MAgha (January 1913), with Mother's permission I took my wife and widowed sister to her hoping that she would give them her blessings. Mother initiated them both that day.

My wife had asked Mother, "Mother, I would like to worship Lord Shiva. Should I do so?"

To this Mother had answered, "You are still young, you will not be able to do it. Later on, when the time comes, you may learn to worship Shiva. Take care of your husband's parents now."

Mother had praised my sister and said, "She has a good heart."

We had taken mangoes for her. Mangoes were expensive then and when Mother saw the fruit, she cried, "O, why did you get mangoes at such a cost? They are not even nice to taste, they are sour!"

(to be continued....)
