Swami Ishanananda:

According to Prakash Maharaj's wishes, it was decided that we would get their food ready for delivery to them before six o'clock at evening. But we could not get it cooked in time in spite of ourselves, and this made him angry.

Brother Rajen suggested, "Well, you can start with them at the fixed time, and we can catch you up on the way with all the things on our heads, no matter what the distance is."

Mother overheard all this talk and said to Prakash Maharaj, "Why do you lose temper over these matters and fulminate? This is our village life; can things be done here to the minute as in Calcutta? You have seen how the boys have been straining themselves from the morning. Whatever you may say, there shall be no moving out of this place before dinner."

As a result, it was only at eight o'clock at night that they started for Vishnapur in eight bullock carts after finishing their meals at the Ashrama.
