Swami Ishanananda:

Mother had returned from Rameswaram to Calcutta (April 1911). We three went to 'Udbodhan' to pay our respects to her. When we sat down after saluting her, she said, "Learning that you would come, I kept two photographs of Rameswaram for your Ashrama. Take them when you go back; worship them there."

"You installed the Master there and asked us to worship him as the embodiment of all the gods and godesses," Kedar Babu said, "and here you offer these others? How many have we to worship?"...

Mother then said, "Very well, get these mounted well, and hang them on the walls of the shrine room."
