Sarayubala Devi:

13 February, 1911:

Looking at me affectionately, Mother said, "You have come; that must have been the reason why I was feeling so restless at Balaram Babu's house."

I was truly astonished.

Sumati had sent two woolen caps for an infant nephew (Khude) of Mother's. I gave them to her, and the simple little gifts pleased her exceedingly. She sat down on her cot and said to me, "Come dear, sit here, near me."

I sat beside her and she said affectionately, "I feel that I have seen you many times before this, as though I have known you for a long time."

I said, "Why Mother, I came only once and then for five minutes only."

Mother began to laugh and said many a good word about the love and faith of my sister and myself....

(to be continued....)
