Swami Arupananda:

Jayrambati, (Mother's old home) 8 June, 1913:

Suren Babu said, "Then again, Mother, one has to live with various members of a family. Some people take their food as soon as it is ready, even before it is dedicated. I feel distressed at having to offer such food to God."

"These things happen in life, even with us," Mother said. "Somebody may be a little sickly and has to have his food set aside early. When the food arrives, say to yourself that God has given it to you and then take it. There is no harm in that."..

Suren Babu asked, "Mother, I live so far out; is there truth in dreams?"

"Oh yes, dreams about God are true," Mother assured him. "The Master used to forbid people to recount their dreams about him even to him."

Suren Babu continued, "Mother, we do not know what the Master was like, we have never seen him. You are everything to us."

"Do not fear, my son." Mother replied, "the Master will take care of you here and hereafter."

(to be continued....)
