One day uncle Prasanna came to Mother and said, "Sister, I hear that you appeared to someone in a dream and gave him initiation and assured him that he would find redemption from the bonds of life and death. You have nursed us in your lap, shall we remain like this for ever?"
"Everything will be as the Master wishes," Mother replied. "And look here, Shri Krishna played with the shepherd boys, laughed and walked with them, ate of food they had touched; but did they know who he was?"
Another day after our meal was over, some of the disciples were about to cleanse the dishes, when Mother prevented them saying, "No, no, leave them. You are beings whom even the gods treasure." ....
Jayrambati, 14th March, 1913:
Doctor Lalit Babu of Shyamabazar and Prabodh Babu had arrived. They came at about four in the afternoon to pay their respects to Mother and talked with her....Speaking of the rules about taking food, Mother said, "...Whatever you eat you must first dedicate to God; you should not take any other kind of food. The quality of your blood depends on the quality of the food you take. If you take consecrated food your blood and your mind will be purified, you will find strength. If your mind is pure, your faith and love will be pure."
