Mother said: "Just before Jogin died, he prayed for nirvAna. Girish Babu said, 'Listen, Jogin, do not accept nirvAna. The Master manifests himself in all creation. The moon and the sun are his eyes. Do not ask for such big things. Think of the Master as he used to be, and go to him thinking those thoughts.'"
Udbodhan (Mother's room), 16 January, 1912: I said, "Mother, when Chaitanya Deva blessed the girl Narayani saying, 'Narayani, may you grow devoted to Sri Krishna,' immediately the three or four year old girl rolled in the dust crying Krishn's name. I have read a story that after NArada had received salvation, he saw an ant and for some reason was filled with compassion for it. He blessed the ant, saying, 'Be free, be free.' Immediately the ant was transformed from ant to bird, beast, and through stages finally to man. He was born again and again as man, gradually his thoughts turned to God, and through meditation he earned his own salvation. All this transmigration NArada saw, as though in the twinking of an eye. It may come to pass, any time, by the mercy of great souls."
"So it might," Mother replied.
