Swami Arupananda:

The Holy Mother spoke about seeing the Master once more:

"When the Master departed from this life, I felt like going away too.

He appeared before me and said, 'No, you must remain. There is so much yet to be done.' In the end I too understood how much there was to be done. He used to say, 'The people of Calcutta are squirming like worms in the dark. Take care of them.'..."

Someone mentioned Jogin Maharaj [Swami Yogananda] and Mother said, "No one loved me like Jogin. If anyone gave him even so much as eight annas, he would put it away saying, 'Mother shall spend it when she goes on pilgrimage.' He would always remain close to me. The others would laugh at him because he stayed near the ladies.

"Jogin would say to me, 'Mother, when you speak to me, call me JogA'. When he was dying, he said to me, 'Mother, BrahmA, Vishnu, Shiva, and the Master have come to fetch me.'"

In this way Mother spoke of a few people of her own accord. At the end she said to me, "My son, I have never talked with anyone as freely as with you." Later she said, "Come to see me and stay with me when I go to Calcutta."

(to be continued....)
